INSTALLATION DINNER/MEETING
The meeting was called to order with a quorum present following dinner by Sherry Petryszyn at 7:40pm.
A welcome was given.The minutes to the previous meeting was read by members.A request to add that the amount
donated to the Rose Parade 2013 should reflect the $200.00 that was submitted by the chapter and is so noted
here.Also the results of the election which was as follows:\

Pending the above additions a motion was made by Linda Bowen and a second to the motion made by Clare Keiser
and the motion was passed to approve the minutes.
The treasury report was made by Diane Klak.The amount in the treasury is $19,873.82.
Committee Reports:
Bylaws & Policy/L.Bowen will meet in September.
Outreach/Medwish has an event on July 20,2011.
Ohio Council/S.Petryszyn was elected the Vice Chair and P.Chapek was elected treasurer at the Ohio council meeting
in Columbus.
N.Fellows reported on a bill which was sponsored by ER nurses regarding violence in the workplace.The
bill passed in the House and it is now going to the Senate.

New Business
The C.Joan Gowin scholarship recipient is Patty Chapek she is finishing her M.S. from Regeants.
Suggestions for what we can do for students can be submitted to the committee members.
The Presidents award is also going to Patty Chapek. The award is a one year membership to AORN.
The Board meeting will be on July 29,2011 at 6-6:30pm at L.Gronowski home.This is on a Friday evening.
N.Fellows is the chairman on the National level to do surveys for AORN to see where students are post scholarship.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:51pm by S.Petryszyn.

Officiating at the installation was Linda Bowen and Nancy Fellows.
The gavel was officially passed to Laurie Gronowski the new president.
