MEETING
Welcome was given to members and visitors and having a quorum present the meeting was called to order at 7:00pm
by president S.Petryszyn.
An informal announcement that our chapter won an award at Congress for the DVD that was submitted for the
chapter excellence award.The chapter won the silver in the large chapter category.
The minutes for the last meeting was read and the list of candidates for office for the chapter was left out of the
minutes.Minutes were approved pending that addition to the minutes.A motion by
B.Bonus and a second by.J.Lantis and the minutes were approved.

J.Greig will be the chapter historian and so she will take the trophy won at Congress home.
There will be a CNOR review course offerred at the Cleveland Clinic/Warner Bldg./main campus on May 14,2011 the
cost is $25.00.
Congress
L.Gronowski gave a report of the newly elected officers at the congress.Also members wishing to run for national
office for the next term should submit their names for consideration.

Communications(L.Bowen)-The newsletter will be sent out the end of April or the beginning of May
Hospitality(C.Keiser)Dinner is being provided by Mike Von Glahn from OR Solutions.
Fund raising No report
Legislature(L.Bowen/P.Chapek) Nurses Day at the captial was changed to June 7,2011 due to SB#5.
Ohio Council will meet June 11,2011 there has not been a place designated for the
meeting yet.
Outreach(T.Brown/L.Gronowski)There will be a Career Day at Emile De Sauze on May 11,2011.
Behind the OR Doors will be hosted on the East and West side of the city a definite date
has not been confirmed.
Medwish has a need for help during the week from 4pm until 7pm

Education(T.Washington)"Mission Possible" Mission Trip to The Phillipines the speaker will be Agripina DeLeon a
member of our Chapter from the Cleveland Clinic
Scholarship(P.Chapek)Applicants have until May 1,2011 to submit applications to N.Fellows

T.Brown made some knitted caps for the babies at Hillcrest Hospital.
